Travel Brochures:Highlights of Turkey

Istanbul
Once the great capital of the Byzantine and Ottoman Empires,
Istanbul is a bustling metropolis that connects two continents
as well as several religions and diverse cultures. This enchanting
city is highlighted by the precious Bosphorus and by the rich
cultural heritage that adorns its silhouette. Admire breathtaking
architecture, peer into the Sultan's harem, bargain at the fabulous
Grand Bazaar with its thousands of shops and crafts, and
experience the hospitality of its warm and friendly people.
Cappadocia
The natural moon-like landscape of Cappadocia adds to the
unique character of a region known for its extraordinary history,
folklore, artistry and astonishing stone-carved cities. Dotted with
“fairy chimneys,” underground dwellings and Byzantine frescoes,
Cappadocia will amaze even the most seasoned traveler.
Antalya
Antalya, a thriving resort city nestled on the “Turkish Riviera,”
is on the most magnificent part of Turkey's Mediterranean
coast. Meander through the narrow lanes of its Old Town or
enjoy a coffee by its charming harbor. Stop to swim at one of
the local golden-sand beaches or head up into the mountains
and visit the spectacular waterfalls. Nearby are the well-preserved
ruins of the ancient cities of Perge and Aspendos, where famous
musicians still perform in its acoustically-balanced amphitheater.
Kushadasi
One of Turkey's largest and most cosmopolitan summer resorts,
Kushadasi offers great beaches, excellent shopping, an exciting
nightlife, and easy access to Kalamaki National Park, where
you can enjoy the dense pine tree forest and spectacular views
of the Aegean Sea. Kushadasi is also the ideal point from which
to tour the magnificent ancient city of Ephesus, one of the
“Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.”
Bodrum
The chic resort of Bodrum offers a superb climate, turquoise
seas, stunning natural beauty, as well as a thriving nightlife that
continues well into sunrise. Wander along the streets of the
town with its beautiful flower-decked houses and overlook the
dazzling bay guarded by a great medieval castle built by the
Knights of Rhodes. Bodrum is a delightful get-away, whether
you want to relax under the sun or enjoy a lively evening out.
Izmir
Enjoy the Mediterranean climate and much more in Izmir, with
its rich history, beautiful beaches, thermal waters and luxurious
spas. Izmir is in close proximity to Ephesus and Pergamum, and
is also home to the Temple of Artemis, one of the “Seven
Wonders of the Ancient World.” Here, you can indulge in the
fresh local cuisine, featuring grapes, figs, olives, citrus fruits and
seafood, and experience the legacies left by civilizations over
thousands of years.
